Drama . The word itself is full of mystery and thrill. It is an ancient folk drama, especially prevalent belongs to the Magar communities. But there is also a secret hidden in Sorathi’s womb.
This mystery is inaugurated as follows, “There was a king named Jaisinge, one of whose kind queen was Harimati. A daughter was born to them. But it was more surprising than happy for them. Because astrology said that the daughter was a child. That is, this daughter will later hurt the king.

Fishermen found the baby in a gold box while he was fishing. They raised the baby. She was young and beautiful.
One day, jaisinge king went around the same stream while playing hunting. When he was about to drink the water of the river, he saw a beautiful young woman. But at the same time, he came to know that the girl was his own daughter, whom he had sent to kill.
The story takes a turn ?
You have to go to Shilpi Theatre in Battisputli to unravel this mystery. The play ‘Sorathi’ is being staged there. The play has been staged at 5 pm every evening except every Tuesday since August 15. About one and a half hours of drama connects this mythology with modern society by wrapping it in cultural adornment. Therefore, on the one hand, it leads the audience to the ancient times and on the other hand, it also feels its own story. Sorathi has also addressed the family system which is being fragmented.
Director Sangeeta Thapa and Sanjay Kaucha Magar have brought the play to the stage very efficiently. It is written by Sanjay Kaucha Magar, whose play is based on the light-oriented novel ‘Sorathi’. I’ve watched it three times. While watching Sorathi drama, I felt a lot of depression and devotion. good luck kaucha creation and the teams.
