A Nepalese international student in Birmingham is facing an urgent funding shortfall of £7,000 to cover outstanding tuition fees before the end of September 2026.

Having already invested significantly in her education and living expenses, the student has explored all available options with her university. Unfortunately, university officials have confirmed that no further payment extensions or alternative arrangements can be made, leaving her facing the possibility of discontinuing her studies and returning to Nepal if the balance is not settled.

Despite setting up an online fundraising campaign, the effort has yet to receive contributions.

“She has worked extremely hard to get to this point and has already invested so much into her education and future,” said a friend coordinating the support effort. “The thought of having to leave the UK because of a financial difficulty is extremely difficult for her. We are simply trying to find people who may be willing to help, share her story or connect us with someone who can help.”

While the student’s identity is being kept confidential for privacy reasons, legitimate documentation verifying her circumstances is available upon request for individuals or organizations wishing to review the details before offering assistance.

Organizers are appealing to the wider UK Nepali community and sympathetic supporters to help bridge the funding gap. Contributions of any size, as well as sharing the campaign within community networks, can help ensure she is able to continue her education.
