The 15th foundation day of the Tribal Film Federation has been celebrated grandly. Organized to promote language and culture, this tribal film federation organized a program with 17 ethnic organizations.

Purkhajit Rai, Chairman of the Tribe Film Federation, said that this organization was established to promote the language and culture of the community. Till now, no matter how many Tribal movies have been produced, it has not been able to get much attention, he said. It has become a matter of pride to come here after facing many challenges since the establishment of the federation. In this way, we should not forget to always respect the contribution of our founder, he argued. He emphasized that the next day should be united more strongly.

Along with the completion of the program, information was also given that a seminar on tribal film production would be organized from the 18th to the 22nd of Baisakh 2081 at Bhrikutimandap Assembly Hall. On that occasion, President Rai also talked about the plans for building the federation building, creating a support fund, etc.

Similarly, the former president and founding general secretary, Pratimaya Pun Magar, discussed the challenges faced during the founding period in a special way. During the establishment of this federation, despite many obstacles and difficulties, it was successful in establishing the tribal film federation.

He said that all the caste organizations should join hands to continue to make the tribal movies tangible. Recently, I learned to know where to do what. He suggested that the coming days should be conducted according to the law.

Similarly, Jyoti Raj Rai, the coordinator of the Tribal Tribes Mother Language Film Promotion Committee under the Film Development Board, complained that the state still looks down on tribal films and opined that the filmmakers of all the tribal communities must fight together.

There are currently 14 filmmaker organizations from various tribal communities including 6 founding organizations in the federation.

The federation was conducted in 2066 under the leadership of Deepen Rai of Kirat Rai Filmmakers Association, and The current president of this federation is Purkhajit Rai, who is the chairman of Kirat Rai Cinematographers Association.
