Two students have been awarded scholarships from the interest generated by the Chimkhole Kaila Scholarship Endowment Fund.
At a program held on Sunday, 2 June 2024, at the hall of the Tamu Buddhist Service Committee in Anamnagar, Kathmandu, Bhavana Pun Magar and Rushma Budha Magar of Chimkhola, Ward No. 7 of Myagdi’s Raghuganga Rural Municipality, were each awarded NPR 35,000 in cash. The scholarships were presented by Bhubal Rai, Chancellor of the Nepal Academy, along with literary figures and Everest Times editor Dut Pun (Chimkhole Kaila).
Bhavana is currently studying in the third year of BBS at Myagdi Multiple Campus, while Rushma is in the fourth semester of BBA. The Chimkhole Kaila Endowment Fund, established in 2016, holds a capital of NPR 1 million and provides nearly NPR 100,000 worth of scholarships and financial support annually.
This endowment fund was created using proceeds collected from the sales and distribution of Chimkhole Kaila’s works—books, CDs, DVDs—and from the screening of his film “Major Pension Khauli.”
In 2022, Chimkhole Kaila donated a computer and printer worth around NPR 60,000 to the Chimkhola Health Post, and similarly, provided PowerPoint equipment worth around NPR 60,000 to the Language Faculty of Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara.
Likewise, in 2023, he awarded a scholarship of NPR 60,000 to Sanjana Garbuja of Chimkhola, Ward No. 7, for her education. Over the past years, many students from Chimkhola have benefited from this scholarship program.
The event saw the presence of many distinguished guests, including social activist Bamkumari Budha Magar, President of the Nepal Lyricists’ Association Basant Bityasi, Vice President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Uday Ghadri Magar, President of the Federation of Indigenous Nationalities Journalists (FONIJ) Gajurdhan Limbu, former presidents of FONIJ Khim Ghale and Danda Gurung, editors from Kantipur Ganesh Rai and Tikaram Tamang, editor of Sabla Bung Rajkumar Rai, BFBS Gurkha Radio Nepal station manager Binod Dhwaj Khadka, popular BFBS program presenter Tulsi Basnet, former vice-president of the Magar Association UK Anita Rana, among many others.

चिम्खोले काइँला छात्रवृत्ति अक्षय कोषको ब्याजबाट दुई विद्यार्थीलाई छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान गरिएको छ ।
काठमाडौंको अनामनगस्थित तमु बौद्ध सेवा समितिको सभाहलमा आइतबार २ जून २०२४ मा आयोजित एक कार्यक्रममा म्याग्दी रघुगंगा गाउँपालिका ७ चिमखोलाका भावना पुनमगर र रुश्मा बुढामगरलाई नेपाल प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठानका कुलपति भूपाल राई, साहित्यकार, र एभरेष्ट टाइसका सम्पादक दुत पुन (चिम्खोले काइँला) ले जनही ३५ हजार रुपैयाँ नगद प्रदान गरेका हुन् ।
भावना म्याग्दी मल्टिपल क्याम्पसमा बीबीएस तेस्रो वर्षमा र रुश्मा बीबीए चौथो सेमेस्टरमा अध्ययनरत छन् । सन् २०१६ सालमा स्थापित चिम्खोले काइँला अक्षय कोष १० लाख रुपैयाँको रहेको छ । यस कोषले हरेक वर्ष झन्डै १ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबर छात्रवृत्ति तथा सहयोग प्रदान गर्दै आएको छ ।
उक्त अक्षयकोष चिम्खोले काईलाको कृतिहरु: पुस्तक, सिडी, डिभीडी बिक्रि बितरण र चलचित्र मेजर पेन्सन खाउलीको प्रदर्शनबाट संकलन गरेको रकमबाट स्थापना गरिएको हो।
सन् २०२२ मा चिम्खोला स्वास्थ्य चौकीलाई झन्डै ६० हजार मुल्य बराबरको कम्प्युटर र प्रिन्टर गरेर र पोखराको पृथ्वीनारायण क्याम्पसको भाषा संकायलाई पनि झन्डै ६० हजार मुल्य बराबरको पावर प्वाइन्ट सामग्री चिम्खोले काइलाले हस्तान्तरण गरेका थिए ।
त्यस्तै अघिल्लो बर्ष सन् २०२३ मा म्याग्दी रघुगंगा गाउँपालिका ७ चिमखोलाका संझना गर्बुजाको अध्ययनको लागि ६० हजार रुपिया छात्रवृति प्रदान गरेका थिए भने बिगतका बर्षहरुमा चिमखोलाका धेरै बिध्यार्थीहरुले उक्त छात्रवृति प्राप्त गरिसकेका छन।
कार्यक्रममा सामाजिक अभियन्ता बमकुमारी बुढामगर, नेपाल गीतकार संघका अध्यक्ष वसन्त वित्यासी, नेपाल पत्रकार महासंघका उपाध्यक्ष उदय घर्तिमगर, नेपाल आदिवासी जनजाति प्रत्रकार महासंघ (फोनिज) अध्यक्ष गजुरधन लिम्बु, फोनिजका निबर्तमान अध्यक्षहरु खिम घले, दण्ड गुरुङ, कान्तिपुरका सम्पादकहरु गणेश राई, टिकाराम तामाङ, सब्लाबुङका सम्पादक राजकुमार राई, बिएफबिएस गोर्खा रेडियो नेपालका स्टेशन म्यानेजर बिनोदध्वज खड्का, बिएफबिएस गोर्खा रेडियोका लोकप्रिय कार्यक्रम प्रष्तोता तुलसी बस्नेत, मगर संघ युकेका पुर्ब उपाध्यक्ष अनिता रानालगायत धेरैको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो ।
